The Double K Kitchen Studio Build
So this is the start of our 2nd Kitchen. This room is the last room in our home that was not finished. The room used to my old office. The gallery pics include shots of the laminate planking we put on the ceiling and walls. We got a great buy on them at Home Depot as the lot was being discontinued. The store did not have enough for our needs but they still had sufficient stock of the same lot online.
The floor tile was a free bee from some the VanHecke’s. I had it store in my garage since their move to Detroit Lakes a year ago. I think there is still 7 cartons left. Doug & Kim Morgan came by to help with the laying and grouting of the tile. I will have to upload those pics yet as well.
The Whiskey Barrel came compliments of Giesenbrau Brewing in New Prague. Aaron was very kind to give us the option of selecting one in the best condition. With a little sanding and some polyurethane that was left over from another project it took on a great look.
