Pizza on the Weber Summit
Dawn had to put in some extra time at the Creeks Bend Golf Course on Sunday. Seems they were shorthanded for help. So we decided in the morning that we would have Pizza on the Grill when she got home.
I made the usual dough balls from the recipe still on our Double K Kitchens site around 11:00am. I used cool tap water so the proofing of dough would be slow. I actually had to put the dough in the window where the sun hit it (yes it was a nice day).
Later when Dawn arrived home…we preheated the grill to 500 with the pizza stones on the grates. While that was getting up to temp we pounded out the dough into 2 seperate pizza and dressed them with the ingredients.
Dawn chose Sausage, Pepperoni, Onion and Green Pepper. I chose Sausage and Pepperoni only.
