The Double K Kitchen Studio Build-Update 4
Well we have reached the point where the cabinets are in. There was 2 doors that needed to be replaced. One was severely warped and the second had an unusually dark hickory color contrast in comparison to the rest of the lot. Menards is shipping them this week and we should have them by the weekend.
The new Maytag Dishwasher was unboxed and the furring strip were installed in the back and side in preparation for the countertop.
Here is a shot of the Refigerator and the above cabinet that had the warped door.
While at Menards, we ordered the laminate for the countertop. Here is a pic of the sample up against the tile we plan to install between the cabinets and also above the cabinets. sorry about the shadows in the pic.
